quick weave are hair extensions mostly used by african american women

What are the steps to a quick weave hair extensions?

Normally a beautician is the one to apply the quick weave to a clients hair. And there are basically two techniques, but the one that I'm familiar with is where they wash and set the hair. Then the beautician wraps the hair with wrapping lotion and set the hair under a hooded blow dryer. After the hair is dry they leave the hair wrapped and start apply the hair extension with hair glue onto the wrapped hair until it all covered. And from there they start cutting and styling the hair in the desired hairstyle. This is also the way they make you your customized wig. Except they apply the hair onto a satin wig cap instead of your hair. I wouldn't advice getting the quick weave alot because it is still hair glue applied to the hair and eventually be damaging to the hair. Pulling and tugging the weave and hair glue from the hair can lead to some hair loss from tension.

I know at the top they turn it some kind of way so that you're not seeing the tracks of the extensions. I'm from KY. and the way them they had it in KY. those quick weaves was fierce. I use to watch them all the time but I just can't remember that top part. If it comes to mind, I'll post it. Report It
