African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

Because African-Americans are a muti-racial group with Native AMerican and White blood lines. Did you know that African-Americans come in 34 skin tones and 26 hair types, Variety of colors and tones. We African-Americans should not be call "Black" becuase thats another racial group! African-Americans should be call "Brown" not "Black".

I remember in High School one of my class mates ask her teacher what should she mark down in the Ethnicly Box, the teacther said but down black because you are African-American and the girl said ( No I am not black, my skin tone is "Brown"). I agree with the girl because we are not "Black" people!

Someone with full African Ancesters without White and Native Americans bloodlines should be consider Black American but not African-American!

There no such thing a "Light skinned Black" I"m one of them Light skin black and We are muit-Racial people, Look at Al Sarpton he have white in him but he consider a African-American but he is not a Black man.

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

African Americans came from or can trace their direct ancestry back to Africa.

Americans of (assumed) African descent are considered black Americans.

Some prefer to be called AA, which is fine, but Black American is fine with me(even though I'm brown too, lol).

Yes, blacks and Africans are multi-racial (especially if the family continued with the mixing like mine), but so are the other races of Americans(whites, Hispanic/Latinos, even Asians).

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

just like Baskin Robbins

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

Did you know that Africans come in many skin tones and hair types as well? I'm African and there are Africans who are darker then me and Africans who are much lighter. So stop trying to separate yourself from your the black race. Our race were diverse people BEFORE the continental slave trade!

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

See, that's where I get confused. I hesitate to call Black people "African American" because not all people of color are from Africa. Some might be Haitian or Puerto Rican for all I know. Just because a person LOOKS "Black" doesn't identify their heritage. I never know WHAT to say without offending someone. I wish someone would tell me.

"There no such thing a "Light skinned Black" I"m one of them Light skin black..."

Teach me how to contradict myself. Lmao! Girl/Boy you are hilarious. You know that?

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

I'm considered white, although I have Native American Indian blood. I think most people in America today are a mix of some kind. Generally, I'm white, you're black, and hispanics are brown.

Most of the "african americans" in my area, and my friends are dark skinned, yet they still consider themselves african americans, even though they told me, their 100% black. They are actually jamaican and haitian descendants , thats why their so sure their 100% black, however they feel their african americans also because they are "of african descent" and their american citizens! Its a misconception that really annoys me that most african americans are mixed. Thats not true! It annoys me because thats like telling my friends whom i love dearly that they're not african american simply because their not mixed at all!

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

The lengths some black people will go to claim they are mixed. What's wrong with being black? Are you ashamed?

African-Americans is a Muti-Racial Group I'm I right?

In my humble opinion, there's no such thing per-se as an African-American. There's an American or an American. Hyphenated Americans just have a bone to pick or an overated pride in their roots. We have Irish-Americans, African --Americans, Japanese-Americans, Polish-Americans etc etc. -- so what's the point ?

I believe most "blacks" are about as much of "mixed-breed" as the rest of us predominately European and/or Oriental

Americans.
