What to do with my hair!!!?

I am an african american( im not biracial) and my hair is very long and i have SOO MUCH hair that i cannot even attempt to do it myself and to top that my hair is very very very coarse and very very very thick. And it gets dry so easily. I just dont know what to do with it. I dont need my hair to be too straight(its too thick for that anyway) I just dont want it frizzy. And i i want my hair to shine without putting so much grease in it(and it drys by the end of the day) and i dont want to flat iron it everyday(it frizzes too fast) so anybody that is a hair expert that has any advice on products for my unique hair?

I have the same problem with my hair.

Use a lot of conditioner. I heard some people with frizzy hair have had success in calming their hair down by using only conditioner to wash hair (no shampoo). You can try overnight conditioning--put conditioner in your hair before bed, don't rinse out, put a shower cap on and rinse it off the next day.

Avoiding any heat on it helps improve the dryness. This means no washing in hot water, hot blow dry (you can use the cool setting), and flat irons. Also try to avoid rubbing hair dry with a towel or brushing it as it tend to increase frizziness. You can use your fingers or a hair pick to smooth tangles (detangling in the shower makes it easy).

You can try using a small amount of anti-frizz serum (like Frizz Ease extra strength) on wet hair after shower. You can also experiment with mousse to increase shine %26amp; bring out natural texture/waves (the good thing with coarse hair is that it has texture). I do find that most mousses make my hair stiff if I let my hair air-dry. I would try a natural mousse like the one Kiss My Face makes, since it doesn't have the plastic that most mousses have.

a good idea is to whatch america's next top model and they have some african american models on there get makeovers. for example, some girls get their hair shaved, to me, it represents the country that they came from and is very beutiful. if you dont like it, then aybe a small "afro" and dye it blonde. if you still dont like it, then i suggest going to this site:
