Im 13 mixed and want ym hair to grow hellp?...?

hi i need my hair to grow im mixed with peurto rican and african american and native american. i do not have the silky straight lusious curls or the straight hair that the native american or the puerto ricans have my hair is soft and smooth its thick but it's very curly, and was very long at one point. IT was very long at one point down to like th middle of my back and now it only like half an inch or an inch past my shoulders and i want it to grow again it grew this summer but when i got it done they just cut of what i grew any way i got a mild perm and it still get curly wet but i got the perm because they say when you have straighter hair it grows faster but i havent gotten it done in a month because my mom dont have the money. i've been bllow drying and curling it so it doesnt look a mess what can i do to make my hair groww because its not growing like i want it to so any advice please

No one told you relaxers damage hair??? Because of relaxers you must take VERRRRY good care of your hair if you want it to grow. If you don't, your hair will grow, but BREAK off so it looks like it's staying the same forever.

Okay, here is my advice, I know a lot about hair care so this might sound crazy but you can either take my advice or not grow your hair.

First of all, keep your hair moisturized. This is as simple as wetting it in the shower, or wetting your hands and running them through your hair. DO NOT buy any moisturizer that has MINERAL OIL or PETROLATUM!

2)use a wide tooth comb(SPARINGLY!!!) to avoid hairs breaking.

3)Wash your hair AT LEAST!!!!! once a week with shampoo. I wash mine with JUST conditioner sometimes too.

4)after shampooing, DEEP CONDITION by putting condish on your hair and putting a plastic cap over it and leaving it on for 15-30 minutes

5)massage your scalp daily

6)do not put any oils or "grease" on your scalp. Same goes with hair.

Hi. I am mixed with Korean and Black and I use to use Mane and Tail products on my hair. It really makes your hair grow. They have the shampoo and conditioner and all other hair products. You might want to give that a try for a while. You should have never put a perm on your hair. You have good hair right? I have never ever put a perm on my hair because I don't need it. I always use a curling iron to straighten my hair. Anyway, give Mane and Tail a try. You can find it at beauty supply stores and even WalMart and Target. Good Luck!

I suggest that you eat well balance meals, take vitamin supplements that helps promote healthy hair growth, you will want to use hair care products for your hair type your hairdresser can recommend products that are best for you. The worst thing you could do is get a perm if you can't afford to keep it up. Perming your hair makes it fragile and if you don't touch-up the new growth it causes hair breakage and especially after a perm. When you can't go to the hairdresser try using a products that strengthen the hair to avoid excessive breakage. Good Luck.

first of all your hair would grow better if you would have never gotton the perm a perm break your hair off and takes all of the natural oils out of your hair so let your natural hair grow back ( and stop getting perms)
