Serious hair help?

My hair is Very thick, frizzy, dry, poofy, and very hard to brush and comb. I dont think that curls really exist in my hair, its mostly frizzy. My dad is african american and my mom is caucasian. Ive gotten my hair straightened and it came out pretty well, it was long, but it was frizzy the next day. I want to have straight or wavy/defined curly hair without getting a perm or having to re-straighten it every day. I dont want to get a perm because i think that it will dry out my hair more and it will make it break off. But anyway i was sondering if you had any answers to make my hair manageable, silky, un-frizzy, and not as poofy. I want something that i can actually pull into a ponytail.

If you need more details then e-mail or im me

i had your problem also.... my mom is filipino and my dad is black... i came out with frizzy poofy hair also....first of all no miracle cream/ spray/ moisturizer will fix ur problem you just need to buy a really good ceramic straightener( The "CHI" ) works best for me. it costed me a hundred bucks but my hair hasnt dried out or broke off since. while your hair is wet, rub some kind of hair oil and let it air dry. after that strraighten and rub a little bit of oil on your ends and wrap it up... if you need to know how to wrap ur hair email me!! whatever you do, dont use aerosol canned oil sheen, the alcohol in it will dry your hair even worse. dont bother getting a perm it'll ruin your hair. everyday my hair is bone straight, but only with this straightener, wrapping and oiling.

maybe you should try using a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner that will make your hair more smooth, healthy, and shiny. try asking your hairstylist for advice or look for help online. that should help :)

my hair is also very think and frizzy sometimes dry. and its short so it worse. but the only thing i can suggest is a thin flat iron.i dont straighten it all the way and its still straight and has some wave to it.but you can always get your hair permanently straightened they use chemicals to do it. go to someplace that cuts hair and ask if they do it.it works good but dont do it alot or your hair will start to fall out

Just dont get a perm it will ruin your hair.

I dont have one and I love my hair.

I have a friend with hair like yours and somehow she manages to get it in a ponytail and if she can do it you can.

And for the dryness get some hair mousturizer
