Plz help now?

About two months ago i got my hair cut and the lady gave me side bangs. Well those grew out and i want to get them cut again. Not really cut but really trimmed into shape. I also need a hairstyle that would look good with that. Now i usually wear it in a bun. If it helps i have hair about an inch and a half above my shoulders in the back.. Chin length in the front and bangs that come to about my nose. I also have african american hair texture.

relaxs or strighten your hair and leave it down with your bangs pulled off to the side! looks cute!

First get your hair relaxed. Then get your hairdresser to give you a nice bob, leaving the length at the front and taking up the back a bit so it's all levelled. Have her put in layers for movement and maybe some highlights to accentuate the movement more.

On bad hair days, where your hair just doesn't want to do what you tell it, I reccommend having it pinned up. I usually do this by taking the hair in 3 sections - one in the front towards the top, and two below. At the top section I twist the lower portion of the hair and push it up to create a bit of volume and then pin that back, do the same with the back pieces and pin them up in the middle.
